The board of the DAAD-Stiftung convenes regularly to make significant decisions which influence the continuing development of the foundation. In this function, the board is exclusively bound to the charter of the foundation.

DAAD/Lichtenscheidt
The DAAD-Stiftung was established by the DAAD’s Executive Committee on 5 May 1999. The charter of the new foundation stipulates, among other things, that the foundation is obliged to provide direct support to exclusively charitable purposes.
