Dr. Gustav Winkler Scholarship

Intensive language training scholarships are awarded for Israeli university students majoring in any field. The language course will be offered by a German language institute within the Federal Republic of Germany.
Funding has been donated by Dr. Gustav Winkler in appreciation of the fifty-year anniversary of German-Israeli relations in order to provide young students with an opportunity to learn German, to get to know the culture and to specifically establish initial contacts with Germans in their field of study.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and they have to be enrolled in an Israeli university (preferably the Technion) or Michlala. German language skills should be at least A1 and no more than B1 based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
